Description We are OFFERING a Vintage Kay Effector Guitar with Built -In Effects and Period Hard Case
We offer you a Kay ‘Effector’ Les Paul style electric guitar, 22 fret rosewood fingerboard with block position markers, tobacco burst finish body with two humbucker pickups and integrated effects system, period hard case. This is a Les Paul style guitar with on-board effects. This guitar sounds great. There is some buzz in the high frets so you might need a setup. The effects work and the guitar is in good overall condition. It comes with the bolt-on neck and it has the adjustable truss rod. There are no major scratches on the guitar and it has held up pretty well. There are a few very light scratches on the back of the guitar.
The information about this guitar on the internet is all over the place. The origin and date of the guitar is sketchy although it is at least from the 1980s and could be 70s. It has two stickers on the back with the serial number on it that are pretty much gone. I assume that would have helped us determine the date. From what I read this guitar is made in Korea. Either way this is a really cool guitar in good physical condition. This is a collectors item.
Neck: “C” profile, 1 11/16” wide nut, rosewood fretboard, 12” radius, and block inlays that could be stickers. Pickups/Hardware: The hardware and the pickups look original to the guitar Built-in Effects: Phase In/Out Echo Tremolo Wah Whirl Wind Fuzz Knobs: Volume with On/Off Tone Speed Input/Output: Please check the pictures loaded to help answer your questions.
