Here is a really nice example of an all original, original finish 1961 slab board Jazzmaster. Please look at all the pictures I have posted as I have tried to show every conceivable angle and part. Strong Decal, very little belt rash, very minor neck wear, strong vibrant color. Really mostly only edge wear. Please notice in one picture the lower horn has two worn round circles in the black finish- I can only speculate that it may be case wear or maybe it came into contact with something hot? Anyway, wanted to mention it for full disclosure. I tried to take pictures of all the nail holes and untouched solder joints showing the authenticity of the finish. I also noticed a factory worker with the name "Josie" signed the back of the pickguard shielding(please see pic) The neck plate has the original owner's drivers license number lightly etched near the bottom. Trussrod works as it should. Note: I currently have a stew mac .025 neck shim in the neck cavity because I like the action quite low. This is in addition to the original neck shim. Neck is fast, frets have some wear in the cowboy chord area. All electronics work, both pickups are strong. Note: rhythm circuit thumbwheels are scratchy but fully functional. Comes with non original newer Fender brown case and original trem arm. Lower 48 US shipping only due to Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.
