Description
For sale is my 1963 Brownface Fender Pro. The amp is in excellent shape aside from the stress tear on the grill cloth. It was recently gone through by one of LA's most trusted and meticulous amp techs, Bob Dixon at Amphole, and it's now 100% DIALED, dead quiet, and sounding INCREDIBLE. (I'll include service receipts.)Non-Original speaker, new TAD tube set. For those of you who're on the collector side of things, you can chase down a period correct speaker, and whatever else you'd need to satisfy that aspect of owning this amp, but those of you who're looking for one of the coolest vintage amp ever that makes some of the richest, most three dimensional sounds ever, look no further. As you likely know if you're looking at this listing, the Harmonic Vibrato on these is BONKERS. The video I attached is a little funny in that it shows just the tip of the amp's abilities, but it's one of the better I could find in terms of it being a balanced summary. I've been using a switcher pedal to have two different tonal settings/gain levels, and it's the coolest. Why am I selling?.... well, the wife and I just found out that we've got a baby on the way, sooooooooo, it's time to make room on all fronts. SHIPPING COSTS TO BE DETERMINED AFTER SALE. It's big, it's heavy, it's fragile, and shipping won't be cheap, so the Local Pickup option is preferable. Cheers!
