Italo-American Accordion Italo-American Polytone Accordion, One-owner. This accordion was top of the line from Italo-American in its day. It is a full size, 4-Reed, 1 chamber accordion with 11/5 treble/bass switches and a master palm switch. It also has a vintage Premier microphone. It was manufactured by Italo-American Accordion in Chicago (serial number 25135) and delivered to its one and only owner on 11-25-1952. That owner was my wife’s uncle and he recently passed. His widow would like to see this go to an owner that will play and appreciate the quality of this instrument. He maintained meticulous care of this accordion as can be seen in the photos. I had the tech at Italo-American (yes they are still in operation!) take a look at this accordion recently and he said it was in good tune. This accordion was played only in the home for many years and was never played commercially. Included is an alligator case with velvet interior that has kept this accordion scratch free through its lifetime. SPECIFICATIONS: Keyboard width: 19 ¼ inches Weight: 26.6 lbs. (excluding case) Number of keys: 41 Number of bass buttons: 120 Treble/bass switches 11/5 and master palm switch Microphone: Premier Configuration: 4-reed, 1 chamber
