This is an amazing guitar. Custom built vintage modern strat. Starts with a 1974 Featherweight Fender Strat Body. Lost of nicks dings and real play wear of a 43 year old body. A real relic from honest play not an overdone hack job like Fender is doing these days Featherweight 7.4lbs!! or 7lb6oz if you preferNothing beats the sound of old wood!The neck was custom made modernmedium C profile highly flamed maple. 22 frets 9.5 radius medium jumbo frets that are just perfect. The fingerboard and headstock face has a thin nitro lacquer and a transition Fender '64-66 logo The back of the neck is what is called a super glue finish.This is the finish that Eric Clapton prefers on his signature model. Feels like an old pair of jeans! Converted to 4bolt with Fender neck plate The fender American vintage steel tremolo block and bridge really stays in tune well with the roller string tree. The loaded pickguard and pickup set is a very rare Xotic Kirk Fletcher set. This set was on Kirk's guitar for while. There are videos of him playing with it on another sunburst strat I will post the YouTube video of Kirk playing this exact pickup assembly if I can find it again. The pickups sound very clear and balanced The 5way switch allows you to get the in between sounds on 2 and 4It has Dunlop Strap Lock buttons I will include a vintage Fender suede gig bag or a tweed Fender Hard Shell Case. Your choice.I have about $1800 invested but I've bought 2 very expensive Gibson Custom shop guitars since I started this project 2 years so I can't keep them all.
