I bought this item new for use in my home studio, which I am downsizing for financial reasons. The unit is supplied with the converter card installed, and all original packaging. I have also included an S/PDIF optical cable to facilitate recording through TOSLINK-equipped soundcards right away. This unit makes professional results achievable at home by downsizing the classic ISA 110 preamp into a conveniently-sized desktop unit. It features an independent DI, so you can capture direct signal from any line-level instrument at the same time as mic'ing an amplifier processing input from that instrument, for example. The soundcard outputs at digital signal from 44.1khz through to 192khz.
