Yamaha SG-90 (1974,  Natural Wood, Little brother to the famous SG-175)Here a piece of rock history, an example of pre Carlos Santana Yamaha SG. Prior to the famous Yamaha SG-2000, Yamaha Music Corporation produced a small series of early Yamaha SGs and experimental prototypes in the period 1972/5. These early SG's included the Yamaha SG 30, 35, 50, 70, the famous Yamaha SG-175 and the now rare Yamaha SG 90. The SG 90 was essentially a less ornate version of the SG175 and is a true killer guitar with a phenomenal playability and versatile sound. This is a truly great electric guitar with a good solid feel, it plays like a dream, fluid and has been set up with with low action. The guitar has been played and has some genuine playwear, dings and dents as a result, hence it oozes mojo and has a definite and a vintage vibe. The guitar has a Maho body, fitted with maho set neck, rosewood fret board with mother of pearl dot position markers, Chrome Hardware and Tuning pegs. An aftermarket Jack socket has been added to reenforce the original socket.  The sound is through high output vintage aftermarket EMG pickups.  Yamaha SG-90 guitars were made from 1974 till 1976 in translucent  red, black and natural wood. Comes with case.
