1986 Rickenbacker 360/12 - Midnight Blue – EX – One Owner – LOTS OF EXTRAS!

I bought this guitar new from a dealer and played it for eight years in a ‘60’s rock band. Wow – sounded beyond great through my Vox AC30 and my Fender Bandmaster – Beatles, Byrds and all the rest. So for the other 22+ years this guitar occasionally got new Pyramid strings and a little love at home, but not much playing time. The guitar was/is an incredible Midnight Blue (you oughta see this baby under stage lights!) with Black trim. Well, I really liked the White trim look and Rickenbacker sold parts to consumers back then, so I bought and converted all the hardware and trim pieces (excepting tuners) to white and chrome. All the original unused black hardware and trim pieces are included – you can have Black or White on this guitar! In addition, the bridge was upgraded to the 12 saddle version when it was introduced – near perfect intonation on a 12-string. And it means there are two bridges included with the guitar! There are a handful of very small, minor ‘dings’ in the finish – none large, deep or visible when playing the guitar. If you’re searching for a vintage Rick 360/12 you’ll be hard pressed to find one that’s better looking with more chime and class. And I don’t think you’ll find another with two 12-string bridges and choice of white/chrome or black hardware and trim! The extra parts on this listing alone are worth nearly a couple hundred dollars. I’m downsizing and it’s much easier for me to just sell the entire package, guitar and parts, all together. If you think you can love it as much as I have, than this 12-string is for you. Questions are welcome.Thanks for looking.
