Selling this lightly and respectfully used AEA R92 Ribbon Mic. I've done thorough mic shootouts on various rock band sources and this mic proved to be in my personal top 3 favorite vocal mics I've ever tried, among the Shure SM7 and RCA 77-DX. I like it better than any condenser I've heard including the high end Neumann condensers and the AKG C12. I like that because the R92 is designed for close micing loud instruments and is typically used for close micing guitar amps, bass cabs and kick drums, a vocalist can get right up on the mic and sing loudly and still get a good take while keeping the ribbon mic essence and not worry about blowing out the ribbon. I met the people at AEA and they couldn't be nicer. They will loan out any of their mics free of charge because they are so confident people will like them and want to buy them. Sure enough, I bought one and would like to buy one of their 44 clones if I come across some money someday. I have recorded with it a few times respectfully and I keep a ziplock bag over it when not in use as pictured. I always have my items professionally packed and shipped.
