Here we have a very rare original Sunburst Steinberger GM4TA that was built in Nashville, Tenneesse before Gibson finally pulled the plug on all USA production. This is NOT a Music-Yo guitar with a Moses neck. In our experience, very few of these were built before Gibson closed down their USA operations. A rare guitar, especially in this type of nearly immaculate condition. This guitar was just restored and set-up by Jeff Babicz, who was the former head of production at Steinberger Sound. Jeff dressed and mirror-polished the frets, rebuilt the TransTrem and serviced the electronics. Jeff rebuilt the original TransTrem with new bearings and spring and also burnished the roller saddles, so it now transposes correctly and returns to zero properly. This guitar is in fantastic shape, and certainly qualifies as being in near-mint condition. A beautiful and rare guitar that's just been serviced by the world's top Steinberger tech and is now ready for the next 25 years of service. It plays and performs as well as (probably better than) the day that it first left the factory. This Steinberger GM4TA guitar will ship in a new HeadlessUSA black gig-bag with its TransTrem vibrato arm, a new black cotton strap, an extra set of strings, and a copy of Jeff's work-order. Purchasing your Steinberger from a trusted source is important when dealing with these highly engineered vintage instruments. Shipping is $75 within the lower 48 USA states. Rates to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will vary. We're happy to ship overseas, so contact us for an accurate shipping quote. If you have any questions, please e-mail us before ordering. Review our flawless feedback and order with confidence. Your complete satisfaction is our first priority. E-bayers with less than 10 feedbacks must contact us before ordering. We will only ship to a verified and confirmed PayPal address. We reserve the right to cancel this offering at any time. Thank you for your business!
