For sale is a Vintique Telecaster which is considered to be THE highest quality hand-crafted Teles made. PERIOD! THIS Vintique is truly unique as it is one of only three ever made. Built and signed by Jay Montrose himself for the 2007 NAAM show (see photos) ,even the tailpiece is stamped with the #1'
The attention to detail is unsurpassed. As a lifetime guitar collector, builder, player and tech I was amazed at how every short-coming of the typical tele design has been addressed in these boutique, custom instruments. Features include highly figured sugar maple, one-piece neck, Danny Gatton neck mounting system, superior quality 100% USA made electronics with Seymour Duncan SWD Custom Shop pickups, Vintique compensated saddles for perfect intonation and Waverly tuning machines in that unique slotted headstock for extremely stable and precise tuning. The color is a beautiful, transparent white applied very thinly to retain crisp but sustained tone. The finish has a scratch on the upper bass bout and a very small, not really noticeable scratch on the fingerboard (17th fret space) but other than that, the finish is absolutely beautiful without that "polished-out-hazy" gloss. The frets show zero detectable wear. The acrylic (NOT plastic) scratchplate is not scratched-up. The electronics are flawless and hum-free. You cannot find another guitar like this at a price like this. A TRUE boutique custom. . (the list price of a Vintique tele is $7500 and this one can ONLY be worth more due to the one-of-three factor) Of course I do not "want" to sell this gem but I'm just not a "tele guy" so I figured I'd offer it to someone who IS. (you wont be disappointed). Probably going to list it on a couple other sites so it wont be around for long.  Serious inquiries only Insurance is included in shipping price If you have a low feedback score your offer will likely be declined I prefer local pu
