Thanks for viewing my listing!   This is a early-mid 70s Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty that was redone by Historic Makeovers.  I bought it a few months ago however I just purchased a new car so I'm selling several Gibsons.    It's a great guitar - sounds fantastic with the Stormy Mondays.    Has authentic gold-cap Gibson Witchhats (these are pricey by themselves).   The HM restoration was $2K alone.     I've got several guitars for sale, if the others sell this one's going to be my keeper.   First 7 pics are from the Reverb listing, last 5 were taken by me this morning. The original listing is here:From the original listing:"Probably the best looking early-mid '70s Gibson Les Paul Custom on the market.Up for sale is my early-mid '70s Gibson Les Paul Custom. It's not a collector's piece, but is a great player! The serial number is 172363, which dates it to between 1970-1975. I've done a lot of research and other features (e.g., small side dot markers, larger split diamond inlay, trans tenon) further narrow that down to 1973-1975. The pots are not original, so they don't help with the dating. It has a set of Bare Knuckle Stormy Monday pickups in it, which sounds amazing. The guitar was professionally refinished by Historic Makeovers in Florida in 2013 and comes with a certificate of authenticity from HM. The serial number is no longer visible after the refin, but is present and visible in the pre-refin pics and also has been documented by HM on their certificate. If you're not familiar with HM, please check out their amazing work. The standard makeover package that was applied to this guitar costs $2000. It's had a headstock break in its history, which was very well repaired. Kim LaFleur at HM was impressed enough with the repair that he didn't need to do any further work to it before refinishing it. The finish was done with HM's non-plasticized nitrocellulose lacquer, which has naturally checked just like a vintage finish - no razor blade aging here.  It has also been professionally re-fretted in the last few months, so no more fretless wonder. It plays great now! Here is a link to more pictures that HM took.  historicmakeovers.smugmug.com/Shipped2013/Emming-Black-Custom/n-PkWpX/The weight is 9.9 lbs. The guitar has been professionally set-up by Paul at OC Guitar Works.Sale also includes the sought-after vintage Gibson "chainsaw" protector case."
