Rare 1960 Fender Concert Brown Face with rough pinkish Tolex and oxblood grill. Model 6G12 serial 02161. Date coded "JK" for Nov. 1960. This is the son of the 5F6-A Tweed Bassman and shares many parts. Speakers are the original Jensen Blue Bell P 10 Q's dated 220045 with a fender order number C6942. The speakers have just been reconed by Dutch at Vin Tone and carry a one year warranty. Also shared with the tweed Bassman is the Triad 45249 output transformer, 125C1A choke, Tungsol 5881's, handle, Astron Capacitors. The power transformer is the original Triad 67233. The power supply and surge caps have been replaced with sprauge atoms and the line cord is a 12ft. 3 prong. This is the 6 tube model with creamy tremolo is very quiet. This amp has its original cover and footswitch. What makes this so rare is that most of the 1960 concerts have had their speakers and output transformer removed and donated to other amps.
