This is a VERY NICE Miraphone 186 4V tuba. Miraphone is one of the best names in tuba manufacture-quality German engineering and execution leads to an instrument with excellent response and intonation. This instrument is in very good playing condition, and pretty good cosmentic condition. There are a couple of minor dings and dents throughout the body and a minor wrinkle in the bell, but nothing that affects play and its actually pretty great condition for a used tuba. The valves are excellent. They are tight and very light. Plays with a big booming sound and terrific response. I'm a trombone player, but this instrument almost makes me want to take up tuba!
