Up for grabs is a Fostex R8 in great condition 8 track reel to reel recorder. Everything works nicely. Includes 4x 1800ft x1/4 inch tapes 3 of which are varying and older condition. The other I bought new and is made by Zonal. Also 8x ex bbc new/old stock tapes made by BASF which is printed on them very high quality 600 ft on 5 inch reels. 2 of these I have already moved on to a 7 inch plastic zonal reel. See photos. Also includes a head de- magnetizer. 2 bottles of cleaning fluid for tape head and rubber, respectively,a little over half full and a few cotton buds for application. Also 2 metal 7 inch reels. 1 of which has old tape(already mentioned) the other I have been using as the take up reel. Also 8 jack to phono leads in stereo configuration and also 8 phono to 4 stereo jacks. Again see photos. You may need to buy adapters to suit your setup. Again see photos. Also included but not in the photos is a roll of editing/splicing tape hardly used. Also not photographed is a downloaded printed manual. I am selling as I have lost my job through ill health and am not using the R8 as much as I feel I should. Id be glad to see it get the use it deserves and have some money in my very empty pockets!
Lovely machine. Shame to see it go but needs must. Sorry for the high postage costs but it is quite heavy and will need to be sent as 2 parcels. 1 parcel for the machine which will be insured...1 parcel for the detachable transport head and tapes and extras etc. All very well packaged.
If there is any change from 25 pounds for postage I will refund the difference. Im skint but not greedy! I am also selling a number of other studio items.
