Here’s a great tribute to a monster player. Built in the USA by the Custom Shop, this guitar is an awesome instrument inspired by Danny’s own Tele. The body is ash for killer tone. The 25.5 inch scale maple neck features a 9.5 inch radius fingerboard with 21 vintage frets. A set of custom shop Blade pickups deliver that hillbilly jazz tone. A string through, 3 saddle bridge and Kluson style tuners keep it rock solid. The finish is Frost Gold nitrocellulose lacquer. An awesome instrument for a real player.
My description:
This Tele has great vintage feel and tone, with superb play-ability & versatility. This guitar has been lightly played, not ever abused, so it's in very good shape. It does have some checking from use of 8 years. The frets are very good, the 50s U shaped neck is straight and true, the action is set medium/low, excellent condition. . The pickups sound excellent, work fine..., everything mechanical & electronics, tuning keys, work 100% as they should. A great guitar. This guitar's body, paint exterior, are in very good shape...a few light clearcoat scratches and checking if you look hard enough. There’s a paint finish only, stress crack near the input jack (see pictures). Comes with original tweed case with Fender Custom Shop certification and original case candy. Non- smoking environment.
This Telecaster sells new for a whopping $4760 in stores, in this similar condition used...they sell from $3100 - $3600.00 .... this one's priced to sell , it won't last long at this price.
