This 100% original vintage Guild archtop is in stunning condition and is a real player with a beautiful tone from the original HB-1 pickups. Other than checking from natural aging, this guitar could almost pass for new. It has virtually no fretwear at all. The only significant defect in the whole guitar is a small area of damage to the pickguard. Check out the detailed photos to see the gorgeous condition of this guitar. You won't see many vintage Guilds in this fantastic condition. Playing this guitar through a Fender Deluxe Reverb I was able to get unbelievable jazz and blues tones. The neck pickup can get a great, mellow tone and the bridge can give you all the bite you want for a searing blues solo. It comes with a Guild case. The original owner says this is the original case, but it looks newer to me.
