Vintage 1960 sunburst Pre CBS Fender Precision bass, ser. # 47290, this is a 100% orig. bass, comes from a smoke free home, cared for and cleaned after every sess Vintage 1960 sunburst Pre CBS Fender Precision bass, ser. # 47290, this is a 100% orig. bass, comes from a smoke free home, cared for and cleaned after every session, I purchased it from Lark Street music when it was in Albany,in the early 90's, now they are in Teaneck N.J., the body as well as the rosewood neck has a great patina, the early 60's basses were used by James Jamerson, Carol Kaye for that cool Motown sound and funk as well as Duck Dunn and many other great bassists, This bass has NO issues, there is a chip on the upper left{pictured}orig. celluloid pick guard, just normal wear on the finish and ne, I do have chrome pickup cover{not pictured} I use light gauge flatwound strings so the frets are fine, the tuners are great, the black hardshell case is in ex. cond. inside and out, the tones vary from a very soft rounded tone to " hit you in the gut" mids and growling punchy tones, the intonation and balance is perfect, CALL OR TEXT WITH ANY ?'s 201 913 3340, RONNIE |
