This is a 1982 Gibson Grabber Bass in a Wine Red finish. It has a thin, Alder body with a chunky Maple neck and fingerboard topped off with a "V" style headstock. Most notably, the Grabber is armed with a sliding, movable pickup to achieve tonal variations between "neck" and "bridge" positions. This bass is light weight, punchy, and looks pretty cool, too with its wear. It is all original.
