Gibson Les Paul Slash Rosso Corsa 2013 with OHSC + Paperwork Price: $2,100.00 The Slash Signature Rosso Corsa Les Paul is a sight to behold and a true treasure for Slash devotees! Only 1200 of these limited edition were produced by Gibson to the specs of Slash. The Gibson USA factory has truly produced a run of well-dressed workhorse guitars that command dignity and utility at the same time: it starts with a solid carved Grade-AAA maple top on a select mah0gany back, a set quarter-sawn mah0gany neck with a lightening-fast '60s Slim taper profile, luscious rosewoood fingerboard with medium-jumbo frets, tied all together with a vintage cream binding. The custom Rosso Corsa ("racing red") finish is a deep red transparent nitrocellulose finish to make the maple top really pop. The pickups are Seymour Duncan Slash Signature humbuckers modeling the revered late 1950s Gibson PAF humbuckers with Alnico II magnets, carefully hand-wired producing an outrageous tonal spectrum with marked richer neck position tones and wailing, snapping bridge position tones. Very light and spry-feeling Les Paul at only 8lbs 4oz. In very good condition with only minor surface swirling/small scratches on the top (mainly a few distinct scratches on the base of the body), a few chips/dings along the binding or edge and some worming/buckle rash on the back. There is a small indentation halfway down the back of the neck that is hard to notice while playing, but worth disclosing. Hardly any fretwear at all! Please reference photos for cosmetic blemishes.
