I’m a former Army trombonist who has decided to sell my (very small) collection of trombones.  This particular horn is a one year old Bach 42AF Stradivarius Series Axial Flow F-Attachment Trombone in mint condition.  It’s definitely the finest concert horn I’ve ever played and is also great for big band/jazz as well.  It features superior engineering, precision fabrication and unmatched performance in a professional level instrument. The 42AF series features a new patented axial flow valve with sealed ceramic top and bottom bearings that allow for smooth balanced action with low maintenance, no surface wear and superior compression. The mini-ball valve linkage allows a free, responsive movement, while the granadilla wood thumb lever offers an elegant look and comfortable feel. This trombone also features a new single draw hand slide fabrication process for a more consistent slide surface that allows a quiet performance and a smooth feel. The fixture mounted construction process allows for proper alignment and freer vibration throughout the instrument. Includes case and mouthpiece.
