Vintage Takamine EF381M 1982 Flame Maple Jumbo Shipping insurance will be added to shipping fee Approx. $20 depending on location.Unmolested, electronics excellent. Excellent condition for a 34 year old axe!!!! Some owners of this model added pick guards after the fact, but to me this diminishes the value of the guitar. You will see this quite frequently. Stays in tune like all high end taks. Truss rod working properly. Beautiful Flamed Maple on the back and sides. Arched top and back. Maple neck, rosewood board, Spruce top. Double bound body and bound fingerboard result in a really beautiful look. She's X braced, and the guitar's back is actually ARCHED - which is quite attractive and another sign of a top-grade Japanese build. The Takamine logo on the headstock is actually engraved/inset with mother of pearl which is really cool, and something not seen on a vintage Tak's. It is claimed, that the original owner was Murray McLauchlan, aclaimed Canadian singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and there is some evidence to support this. You know the..."On the Boulevard" Guy. I am currently investigating this claim, regardless this is a quality built guitar with crazy sustain . Special Features Onboard Electronics
