Holy Grail original 1959 Fender Bassman. This amp is 100% original, right down to the original filters caps which are still in good working order. Nothing has been changed on this amp, it is totally original. The one exception is the handle, which is a proper, heavy duty, leather replacement.It's quite clean for a Bassman, as most of these were gigged and beat around. This one isn't mint, but it's a very nice example, with only modest wear to the tweed.It sounds great and all speakers are working perfectly. One anomaly is that two speakers are dated 220 750, one is dated 220 749, and the fourth is dated 220 450. The final speaker has another number on it, 5636, so perhaps a factory re-do. But I do believe these are the original four speakers that came in the amp in 1958.The code on the tube chart states the date of production as June of '58. Serial number is BM00758. This is, of course, the 5F6-A circuit.Keep in mind that this is a 60 year old piece of vintage electronics. It may need servicing at any time. There are no returns and no warranty. If you would like a warranty, buy a new re-issue.
