Broadwood Upright Piano with a Sheraton Style Inlaid Mahogany Case C.1906 A beautiful John Broadwood and Sons upright piano built at the firm's Old Ford, Hackney workshops circa 1906, serial number 103177. Polished mahogany case with boxwood inlay to front panel and legs in the style of Thomas Sheraton, oblique strung iron frame with underdamped mechanism, 7 octaves, original 85 note keyboard in excellent condition, retractable music desk, soft and sustain pedals, full working order with a light touch and pleasing tone, tuned and serviced June 2016. A good quality instrument suitable for most levels of play and a fine antique centrepiece by the illustrious British maker.  Dimensions  W 140cm x H 118cm x D 62cm Broadwood History  Established in 1728, John Broadwood and Sons is the oldest and one of the most prestigious piano makers of all time.
