Fender Stratocaster made in the USA. Looks to be a Dan Smith era 1983 - 1984 Stratocaster. We've been going through my father's things and came across a few guitars that he had hidden. I do not know the history or anything about these has he has had them put up for very long time. I replaced the rusty strings that were on it and plugged it up to see if everything worked. Everything does work on it as it should. It sounds like a vintage Stratocaster. It does come with the tremolo arm that came with it but no case. I am more into metal guitars so this one is up for sale. The body does have some Nicks chips scratches and everything else that comes with a very old used guitar. There is a very small hole in the back of the body. Why? I do not know. The neck seems to be ok. The frets ha be some ware on a few and others look very good. It looks to have a aftermarket fender LSR roller nut installed. The neck has a chip in the fretboard on the very bottom of it. It is not into a functionable fret but it is there and I eyesore nonetheless. I checked to see if they truss rod would work and it did turn right and left but I did not try to adjust anything as is looked almost straight as it was. I am sure someone or some of you will say that the neck will need work either it be now or sometime down the road but as it stands now it works and is playable. With any and all known issues it is reflected in the price as the the price is half the cost that you could get one of these at. with that being said the guitar does have scratches on the neck and grooving on the fretboard. The guitar is being sold as is where is and only in United States with insurance for the price of purchase
