Brand new. Just sat in the case for months. This is a Martin Custom Shop CEO-7 acoustic guitar built from pieces of blackwood for the back and sides and an East Indian rosewood neck - both woods were handpicked by us on our last trip to the Martin factory in Nazareth, PA. The blackwood looks fantastic, and the story behind the Indian rosewood is that it had been sitting in the wood room acclimating since the 1970s, making it a piece of wood that's already been settled into guitar-mode instead of tree-mode for years, making it very sturdy, as well as great looking.
