This is the new and updated for 2017 version of the excellent Phil Collen PC1 signature model from Jackson Guitars. The PC1 Dinky was one of the original Jackson signature guitars and with its unique and extreme sounding Sustainer neck pickup it’s always been one of a kind. The new USA Signature PC1 Matte features a satin gray finish over a caramelized mahogany body and bolt-on two-piece quartersawn caramelized flame maple neck with hand-rubbed urethane gel on the back and graphite reinforcement, 12”-16”compound radius caramelized flame maple fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, convenient thumbwheel truss rod butt adjust and licensed Fender ® Stratocaster® headstock. Of course, Collen’s favored pickup configuration of HSS is still here with DiMarzio’s in the middle and bridge with a PC1 Sustainer Driver in the neck. Pickup.
