After a break in production, the Flying V came back in 1983. Flying Vs from this era were also referred to as the Flying V 83. This model differed from earlier Flying Vs in its lack of pickguard and its Alder body. It was also available with several optional vibrato tailpieces. 1984 Purple Burst Gibson Flying V Kahler Tremolo USA Flyer Chrome Flat Mount bridge -Vintage Gibson Tuners -Gibson Gibson USA Bridge with -Solid Mahogany Neck and Body- Hard Case is ok but hold guitar securely -Neck is straight and frets are Good-Plays Great with no buzz- Good Straight Neck- Strap locks i will throw in the strap I got this used in 1986 with a crack neck it was already repaired you can see crack never change over years who ever repair it did a great job stays in tune just fine. In picturethe guitar looks red to me it look more a plum Guitar does come dings maybe a scratch in placesNo pickups switch and all pots are original and with all my sales no returns or refunds i will add some picture of case no shipping out of the lower USA
