This unit is, overall, in good to very good condition. Some might describe it as excellent cond, but I try to allow for differences in opinion, so I'll just indicate 
it as good to very good. There are no operational issues.It is clean and works well, and it sounds off the hook fantastic.This is the unit on which Yamaha improved the quality of the mic pre's
and I believe the ad/da converters were upgraded as well, but check on that, if it's 
of interest to you,  I'm just going by what I remember when I first started researching these units.There are minor markings on one side-rail, which can be seen in the picture. LCD is normal, no issues.These Yamahas are AMAZING..  Hands down,  this is THE workstation, for incredible sound.Internal track bouncing makes it so easy to gain MANY more tracks.The effects are excellent, the eq is outstanding, as is the compression / dynamics function.
Both the eq and the effects can be user set, or you can simply choose from
factory technician's pre-named pre sets.MOTORIZED FADERS, MIX DOWN, MASTERING, CD, CDRW...ECT,  ECT..THIS THING IS LOADED.Original YAMAHA operating manual is included.This unit is expandable,  so in the port, you can place an adat cart (optical in/out) or a 1/4"
input card.  I believe there are several other expansion cards available as well.I am a nut about taking care of my equipment, and when this unit is not in use, it is carefully covered.Phantom power on 1-8,  balanced in's, xlr/ 1/4"  ect,  ..if you Google it you'll find all the details.THIS UNIT WILL BE CAREFULLY SURROUNDED IN THICK BUBBLEWRAP
