1967 Vintage Gibson ES345 - This spectacular and rare vintage instrument is a classic cherry red semi-hollow body with the ES-345 Parallelogram inlays. This guitar is in great shape and setup as a 'player's guitar' with the vintage look and feel and sound of the early Gibson 345’s. It has a warm and singing killer Blues/Jazz and Rock vintage sound with a Rosewood fingerboard.The Serial Number is 052229 and the instrument has a one-piece NO volute neck (there is no “Made in USA” stamp under the serial number or volute (heel) on the back of the neck as on the 1970 models which indicates its 1967 vintage. All 1967 Gibson ES345’s started with a zero serial number as on this instrument.The instrument has a professional luthier repair to a minor crack located on the back of the headstock on this instrument completed many years ago with absolutely no impact to the structural integrity of this fine instrument. This instrument has been played many years on countless professional recordings and studio work and is in excellent playing condition. All other features on the guitar are in excellent condition. The guitar is setup as a player’s guitar w/ stereo varitone switch removed and stock one-piece tailpiece with Duncan’s and gold plated Shaller tuning pegs. The guitar also comes with a hard-shell SKB global touring transport authority TSA locking case in perfect condition for professional road travel.This vintage year and playability of this fine instrument provides a spectacular instrument for the serious minded guitar player looking for the vintage wailing sound of the classic Gibson 345/335 series sound.
