These Michael Kelly guitars continue to blow us away! We got a large NAMM shipment in last week and we are throwing a few of them up on Reverb to share the love. As always with Monster Music the guitar that you see pictured here is the ACTUAL instrument that you will un-box.The top are sick. Just check out the burl on this top. The appointments, the pickups, the birds-eye maple, birds-eye maple neck (thin, fast, and satin to add to the easy feel) are all just impossible to believe are all part of a guitar that is so within financial reach.We have been stocking Michael Kelly for the past several years and have not been able to keep them in stock.Couple of interesting features:
1- EPIC ELEVEN MODThe Epic Eleven electronics hot-rod mod delivers maximum sonic versatility. With Epic Eleven you get to break away from the typical 5 tones limitation of a traditional 5-way switch wiring. The secret sauce is the added mini-toggle, which allows you to add in the neck pickup into configurations where it would not normally be available. The second way that the Epic Eleven Mod adds sonic options is with a push-pull on the Master Volume which allows you to coil tap the bridge humbucker, switching from hum to a vintage single coil tone.2-Open Back Trem Back Plate- For decades guitarists have removed their backplate on their tremolo equipped double cutaways ofr a sonic enhancement. With the MK Open Back design you get that sonic edge with a finished look.Here are the rest of the specs:
