Full western craziness! The 6120DSW recreates the original 1955 Chet Atkins models and includes all of the over the top western wackiness collectors love. G brand, engraved inlays, steer's horns, they are all here. The hollow body is laminated maple for classic tone. The 2 piece maple neck features a bound rosewood fingerboard with engraved block inlays. Dual Dynasonic pickups deliver vintage tone. Grover Sta-Tite tuners and a floating bridge keep it rock solid while a Bigsby B-6 vibrato tailpiece allows twangy wiggles. The finish is classic Gretsch orange transparent. A great guitar that features all of the more recent refinements to the Gretsch line including CTS pots and Switchcraft switches. If you don't have 15K for a vintage 6120, this one's for you! This 6120 plays great with low action and nice feel. The frets are Full and the neck is straight. The Dynasonic pickups sound awesome and offer tons of vintage tone. Everything works as it should. A great guitar. This is a Pristine guitar too. It only shows Very light pick and clearcoat scratches. Comes in original case. The Western 6120 is an acknowledged classic in the guitar world. One of the most pleasing designs of the 50s.
