Have a look at this rare vintage LEVIN ROYAL archtop jazz guitar made in Sweden in the year 1942 :
Fullsize archtop body, handcarved solid spruce top, maple sides and back. Overall length: 42.5" (108cm), scale: 25" (63.5cm). Neck-width: 43 mm at the nut / 54 mm at the 12th fret. Body: 16.5" (42cm) wide, 20" (51cm) long and 3.35" (8.5cm) deep. Violin sunburst finish, rosewood fretboard with MOP markers. Engraved brass tailpiece, carved adjustable ebony bridge with string compensation, brass tuners. The pickguard is missing.
Slim D-shaped 3-layer mahogany neck with 20 frets and bone saddle. A true masterpiece instrument with excellent voice and perfect separation of single notes, very jazzy !Good condition considering its age, several small scratches and hairline crackles in the old original finish, some minor dings and dongs. One hole at the top from a pickguard. Perfect straight neck, good original frets.
Very low action (app. 2mm at the 12th fret), excellent player!
The guitar comes in an old used hard shell case as shown on the photo.
