Originality Report: Case: Original (Tolex has been replaced/refurbished -- amazing, professional job) Amp & Speaker In Case: Original (Unlive the Silvertone Amp-in-Case models, this baby is almost exactly the same as the 60s Fender Champs.  Era-appropriate tubes have been installed and the amp is nice and loud. Guitar Body & Neck: Original Frets: Original Finish: Refinished (See pics) Pickups, Pots, Caps, Wiring: Original (pots date 1964) Pick guard: Original (note the small crack) Bridge: Bridge is model and period correct, but is in ridiculously beautiful shape considering the guitar's age, so it may have been replaced when the guitar was refinished. Tremolo Switch: Present, but currently bypassed Tuners: Original Knobs & Tail Piece: Original Strap Buttons: Original  Here's The Run Down: This is A Super Cool, Rare & Vintage 1963-4 Airline 7214 Amp in Case, 2 Pickup Guitar Combo that is in great condition(especially for its age- see photos). This isn't an easy one to find, let alone in such playable, condition! It is in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pictures. There are a few dings, wear, tiny chips and marks here and there as to be expected in a 50+ year-old guitar.  There are NO cracks in the neck or body, which is rare because body cracks are very common with these Supro/Airline Models. Beautiful art-deco Airline Logos on guitar and case are intact! All original electronics operate as they should and sound great (pots could use a cleaning). The neck is straight with minor relief and plays great from one end to the other.   Definitely a cool hard-to-find model, that will make a sweet addition to your collection! This Vintage Airline 7214 Guitar plays really well from one end of the board to the other, with extremely reasonable string height and room on the bridge. The neck is straight showing only a little relief. Could be left as-is (very playable).
The Amp In Case is in excellent condition overall, and operates properly. It's surprisingly loud when compared to the Silvertone Models and sounds much better--very much like an early-mid 1960s Fender Champ. This Amp and Case are all original (except for the tolex, which was professionally refurbished).  No visible holes in the speaker material. All latches, hinges and handle operate as they should.    Everything operates as it should.  It's a happening little combo! Make sure you view all of the pics and ask questions if you have any concerns before buying.
