Up for Auction:
One (1) Parker Nitefly. This is a late 90's model (1997 if I'm correct) based on serial number. I have had this "Black Beauty" for about 2 1/2 years and have had zero problems with it. Plays and sounds like a dream! Built in acoustic PIEZO pickup sounds sweeter than an actual acoustic! Sperzel locking tuners keep this axe in tune through a whole show! Stainless steel frets are like new and fretboard looks superb. Minor light surface scratches and a couple of nicks at end of headstock. None of which affect sound or take away anything from this 20 year old classic! I just heard that Parker has or plans to... Close their doors for good. That means a couple of things. One... These guitars- especially in this condition - are going to become harder and harder to come by because no one will want to part with theirs! Secondly - their value will now only go up and continue to increase in value as they become out of production vintage antiques. Ken Parker was a visionary. Made a special product. Anyone who has played these guitars can attest to that.
This is a beauty. Only selling because I picked up a midifly and now want my second guitar to be midi equipped as well. Unfortunately, I have a double case that I keep my 2 Parker's in so this will come without a case. But you can find a padded gig bag for less than $50 right here on ebay usually. Or a hardshell may run around $100. Also, guitar had no whammy bar when I purchased it. And since I don't use one... I never looked into replacing. But they are inexpensive as well.
Guitar was just set up by a master luthier - who is the only guy I have let touch my guitar since I bought it. New strings, intonated and action perfect. Just needs you to play her - she's ready to go! As for the vinyl decals... I have been blessed with this guitar and you will be too! They come off with ease. They are NOT stickers. I can leave on... Or take off and clean before shipping. That's up to you. If it doesn't sell... I'll keep the decals on.
I will have this packaged professionally to guarantee safe arrival. Please see my perfect feedback rating over the past 10+ years and bid with confidence!
I usually don't ship international. But will consider it if you contact me prior to bidding! I know these guitars are also popular overseas. Buyer to pay exact shipping fee which will include insurance. I DO NOT MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING. But I don't lose money either!
PayPal only and must be received with 48 hours of auctions end.
Thank you for looking and good luck!
Happy bidding.
