Honu Ukuleles are hand crafted by me, one at a time and finished with care right here in Connecticut U.S.A. My passion for the Hawaiian traditions and craftsmanship is reflected in the solid wood and traditional materials. You will never find laminate in a Honu Ukulele. Simple lines and no ornate bindings let the true beauty of the wood speak for itself (bindings hide laminate). This Honu Ukulele has spalted Mango wood top and back with Maple neck and sides. It also has a decorative wood rosette and a headstock to match the body. 4 of the tuners are standard Grover Geared tuners, 2 of them are more "traditional" tuners with planetary gearing. This 'uke is also fitted with an Aloha twin passive pickups.Aquila strings and a hard case finish off this gorgeous, hand rubbed gloss lacquer finish. Ready to ship next business day
