Huss and Dalton DS-12 Pre-Owned 2013 Huss and Dalton DS Custom Italian Spruce and Sinker Mahogany This Pre-Owned 2013 Huss and Dalton DS-12 Custom Italian Spruce and Sinker Mahogany is in Excellent Condition with only some very light surface scratching around the upper bout which we have attempted to capture in the detailed photos posted below. This slope shouldered guitar is a powerhouse. Big in sound but not short on clarity this guitar is a nod to the traditional slope shoulder guitars of the 30's and 40's. This is a beautiful guitar with a great voice and feel for flatpicking and strumming which is excellent for fingerstyle players. Like most round shouldered D's, this one has a little more midrange and pop because of the radiused top and the  soundhole. This is an all around singer-songwriter type guitar and more than a few fingerstyle players, like these slope D's because of it's balance and bigger midrange voice. The Italian Spruce top  brings the guitar balance and warmth, and when coupled with Sinker Mahogany brings the guitar strong fundamentals, a lightning quick response, crisp trebles, and virtually unlimited headroom. The Sinker Mahogany back and sides produce a tone that is clear and powerful. The low end is spectacular and much more prominent than many standard mahogany guitars of this size. The midrange, while maintaining stunning clarity and definition, is very smooth and pleasant, making for a very balanced sound without the harsh upper mids and trebles that can sometimes take place. This guitar features an upgraded Cocobolo end pin and strap pin. This instrument is in Excellent + Condition with only some very light surface scratches with are easier to detect in the darker part of the sunburst. This guitar was well looked after and taken care of. Includes Original Hardshell Case.Features :
