1965 Fender Jazzbass Neck Pickupw/Original CoverTrue, real-deal, 1965 Pre-CBS Fender Jazzbass Neck Pickup. Reads "Mel 8-3-65" in ink under the lacquer. Original windings over early grey bobbin. No leadwires- measures 7.79k at the terminals. Came from the bass with the serial number L88499, also dating it to '65 (also a match to the pots that have previously been sold). Original cover is in nice shape for its age- shows some minimal playwear. Rare!!
