** FREE SHIPPING AVAILABLE CALL FOR MORE INFO ** Technics sl1200 mk5 turntable This is the next step in the evolution of the sl 1200 turntable series. Unlike the well known sl1200 mk2 which was originally designed for home hi-fi use the sl1200mk5 was designed specifically for dj use and has some notable improvements in design over the mk2. Some improvements include a recessed on / off switch to avoid powering down the unit accidentally during mixing, improved pitch fader with the center click detent removed offering more accurate platter speed control, holder for secondary headshell and cartridge setup, improved audio cables, improved tonearm design, LED stylus pop up lamp and a huge 6gram of anti skating force. This turntable has retained some of its original accessories, headshell, 45 adapter, felt slip mat, tonearm auxiliary weight and also comes with clear plastic lid please note the lid has a couple of cracks. To sweeten the deal the turntable has also just undergone a major service. Upon servicing it was noticed that the internal component's had very little wear. Happy to post at buyers expense. Item will be packed securely. Will accept no responsibility for the item once it leaves my possession.
