New & never played! Pearl M-1946 Limited Edition 50th Anniversary snare drum, made in 1996. Only 500 were produced and this one is number 0031. 5.5 x 14 solid steam-bent maple shell (7.5mm thick) with one-piece maple reinforcement hoops. Black Mist lacquer finish. 10 solid brass tube style lugs with claw hooks. Straight steel hoops with commemorative engraving on top rim. All metal parts are 24k gold-plated. Remo FiberSkyn batter head with 50th anniversary logo. Numbered paper badge inside shell, signed by Pearl's founder and Pearl’s President/CEO. Also includes Certificate of Authenticity signed by both gentlemen, gold plated drum key with leather pouch and a drum bag with embossed leather 50th anniversary logo. This drum has been in climate-controlled, smoke-free storage for 20 years and was never touched until the photos were taken. Comes in the original shipping carton.I started Drum Headquarters in 1981 and sold it in 2005. Unfortunately, it went out of business in 2011. I also started HQ Percussion Products (manufacturer of RealFeel and SoundOff) in 1988 and sold it to D'Addario & Co. in 2004. It is now time for me to sell my rare and interesting items!
