Super Rare Fender Custom Concertone Walnut 5 String banjo that was given to Country Singer Kenny Vernon (Pictured in 1968 Fender Catalog with this banjo) in 1967 by the Fender Company as a Artist Promotion. The Banjo comes with an original 1968 Fender Catalog showing a picture of Kenny Vernon playing this Banjo! Also documentation from Fender and a written receipt from when it was bought from Kenny in 2006. The banjo is in excellent condition, Frets are in fine condition.. Sounds great and plays great. It has the Keith /Bump D tuners that it came with, they were also sent to Beacon Banjo for service. The Gold plating is in mint condition except for some minor plating wear on the armrest.. As you can see in the pics there are a few minor scratches on the resonator. This is a vintage top of the line Gold Plated ,Engraved Fender Banjo in excellent condition. with a cool history. Comes with the original Lifton hard case.
