Peavey Custom Shop Wolfgan Special
Serial # 51243886This guitar was ordered and purchased by me. Ordered in early 2004, this was one of the last guitars to be made by the Peavey Custom Shop. At one point they told me they didn't know for sure if it would be made due to Eddie's departure...
All aspects of the guitar were done by Peavey, nothing was done to the guitar afterwards. I have the original build sheet and will include it with the guitar. As you can see from the sheet pic, it was born on 12/16/04. I received the guitar on 12/23/04. Paint job was done by John Douglas, he was the artist that they contracted to do some of the Wolfgang paint jobs. Mr. Douglas is an exceptional artist and does work for some of the most known names in the music industry. (Aerosmith, ZZ Top, Van Halen, etc.) So your getting a John Douglas painting in addition to buying a great guitar. The mother of pearl dice inlay are awesome. They get lots of compliments and the guitar itself is just gorgeous. Pics just don't seem to do it any justice.
The neck and frets are in excellent shape and the body has no dings or dents or stage rage. It was always handled with love and always wiped down, cleaned and cased when not being used. I love the way this guitar sounds, its got great tone and the neck is a dream. It feels so good in the hand. I hate to part with it but I need to take care of my family. I'm starting the auction at a price that I consider reasonable for what you are getting.
