SML gold medal mk1 tenor made in paris france 1960s ser.no.169**
original lacquer, good on body but cups are tarnished/patchy, nicely engraved.
new pads all round, plays easily top to bottom, good intonation .. for a few players ,high A above the palm keys needs alternative fingering from the norm.
6.25 inch bell plays with a very noticeable large rich tone right thro the range
well worth reading up on the SML story on line. it is free of dings,dents scratches
and i cant see any repairs. exceptional build quality with some nice touches on the
crook tightener and no less than 8 adjusting screws for the action which is as smooth as any sax out there.case is tidy and serviceable but not original.sent out
well wrapped free of charge and insured to uk buyers *if you are outside of uk i use ebay gps.
