Here is a very nice Treble Concertina in perfect unmarked playing condition.  Tuned to A440 Hz Concert Pitch, with steel reeds & 6 fold bellows & pristine nickel plated ends.  The instrument was refurbished by H Crabb of London in 1977 & has new pads, valves, bushings & straps fitted.  The action is fast & responsive & plays with a resonant bright tone.  The bellows are in 'as new' condition with no sign of wear & being absolutely air-tight give excellent compression.  I can find no trace whatsoever of any serial numbers. 42L is stamped on the reed pans & also on the rear of the metal frets, together with the Wheatstone name.  Therefore, date of manufacture is unknown, but presumably turn of the century.  The instrument comes with original case, which, whilst showing it's age, is nevertheless robust & functional. Photocopies of letters included in sale.I purchased the Concertina 4 years ago & have enjoyed playing it regularly since then - 'bringing it back to life' as it were after only occasional previous use since the Salvation Army owners demise in 1981 (he paid £45 for it).  This is a unique & genuine opportunity to acquire a now 'hard to find' 'belle epoque' period Wheatstone Concertina, in this condition, at a realistic starting price with free postage for UK only.Enquiries, inspection welcome - tel. 01896 848041Postage for International buyer to be determined after sale.
