Nice L-4 from around 1930
Original parts. Ebony bridge . Missing the pickguard.
Great straight v profile neck. Good intonation and very easy action . Frets look original
Rosewood board in good shape . No heavy wear to fingerboard.
Original soft case.
Hand carved spruce top. Original black finish. Binding all in great shape
Carved highly figured maple back
Excellent dry woody tone.
This L-4 appears to have what must be a factory or professional refinished back, sides and neck .
Looks too clean to be original. Top of the guitar and headstock are the untouched original finish.
Has some short cracks on the back . Shown in one area some were repaired previously.
Tight short crack on top shown in the pics.
