Fender Double Neck Steel GuitarThis Fender Double Neck Steel Guitar is in excellent condition. It comes with its original case.My recently deceased friend left me this instrument in his will. He and I were best friends and played music together since we were 10 years old :-) He was the Technical Director of the radio news program "All Things Considered" and later the audio engineer and sometimes co-producer of the radio show American Routes out of New Orleans. He played Dobro, Steel, Lap Steel and guitar as an amateur. He took good care of his instruments. I do not know how he acquired this one. Everything is in its place. I don't believe he ever worked on instruments himself. Rather he relied on pro techs for repairs, set-up, etc. As far as I can tell, this instrument is in near perfect shape. It does have a few dings. But the pickups, selectors and controls all function fine and it sounds good through the little amp I played it through. The legs and leg holes are hand marked with letters for consistent placement and, ultimately, stability.
