E’s One-of-a-Kind Collectibles GUITAR INFO. · Vintage 1985 Fernandes JS-100 MIJ Set-Neck Guitar Randy Rhoads Flying V OHSC · Manufactured in Japan at the infamous Matsumoku factory · Includes original tremolo arm and OHSC · All factory original aside from replacement bridge upgrade (Head Crasher FRT-5 Licensed Floyd Rose Tremolo) · Limited Edition Artist Series – Randy Rhoads Model (few were made) · Fernandes visited Randy’s family and examined his guitars prior to building this model shortly after his passing. · U.S. SELLER – All items are from my personal collection, well cared for and routinely serviced. · See photos for further details (guitar shown is the exact guitar you will receive) CONDITION / SPECS A vintage Fernandes’ Limited Edition Artist Series Guitar of the infamous Randy Rhoads Flying V. The original factory pickups are intact and boy can they crank! They are 2-wire type Matsumoku 45 Humbuckers (MMK 45) which are very sought after by collectors. The wiring and pots are Matsumoku and its all factory original. This guitar was manufactured at the famous Matsumoku factory. The awesome neck binding is visible in the photos and it has a Dark Indian Rosewood fingerboard with shark fins inlays. It’s in fantastic working condition, however, it does show some wear on the finish but also keep in mind that this guitar is over 30 years old. The most notable blemishes on the finish are as follows: 1. No dimples, nicks or deep scratches on the back of the neck – it’s flawless! 2. Small paint chip on the tip of the headstock down to the wood (see photos) 3. There are a series of small nicks in the binding along the top of the fingerboard between frets 10& 14 4. On the back of the body there are a few nicks and scratches along the perimeter 5. On the large wing, the paint on the tip is chipped down to the wood (see photos) 6. There are a couple large dimples on the top of the body (see photos) 7. A major area of wear is above the tremolo along the top edge of the guitar. There are a couple nicks where the chipped paint is down to the wood, the largest one measuring ½” in length (see photos) 8.
