first thing i must mention is, the pick-up was taken out professionally sum years ago.the hole where the lead would have plugged in was patched up... obviously by a master craftsman.it is hard to tell were the lead hole was.it is not in mint condition!.if it was it would fetch 10-12.000.00 us dollars.the front face of guitar has 2 small holes were the volume and tone? would have been.they were not patched up with timbers.but it does not effect the great sound that this 54 year old, very collectible guitar,made famous by john lennon. still puts out.there are a few scratches here and there.the neck is very straight and solid.as is the whole body.appart from missing pickup.this guitar can keep perfectly tuned,even if it hasnt been touched for over 1 year, ive expierienced even longer periods wen its been in storage and pulled out maybe 2 years .a real shame pickup was removed! was long before i purchased it, at a garage sale 24 years ago!does not come with case.have had it valued as is and i would be very happy in letting it go,at somewhere around the $3300.00 us dollar mark,too $3.500.00 plus mark +.am open to offers.serial number 238718
