1829  Curious Guitar related book  La Guitaromanie,  Charles de Marescot, a Parisian guitarist Hector Berlioz mentioned MARESCOT  a number of occasions in his Les Soirées de l'Orchestre of 1852. La Guitaromanie was published in Paris in 1829, and it contains a number of engravings  about the guitar in social encounters  with  music .   The guitaromanie is the name ascribed to the incredible popularity of the guitar in the early 1800s  in major European capitals. The repertoire of the guitar goes international under the leadership of virtuoso-composers traveling across the continent. Many Italian guitarists come to find fame and fortune in Paris, London or Vienna as Ferdinando Carulli , Niccolo Paganini , virtuoso violinist but also guitar, Matteo Carcassi , Luigi Legnani , Mauro Giuliani . They let us abundant production. The Spanish school in turn, asserts in Paris with Dionisio Aguado and especially the great Fernando Sor .   This is a rare copy Im  not sure if the  Bibliothèque nationale de France holds a copy  ! complete in original green paper binding  200 x 120 mm a tactile copy with tight binding some foxing and all 6 plates  a must for any guitar historian .
