Vintage 1980s Guild DV-52 Acoustic Guitar Case High Action Selling AS-ISReally great sounding guitar but it has high action at the 12th fret. Please view pictures for details. Fine for open cords if that's your thing otherwise it will need some work done to lower the action and get it up to snuff. Selling As-Is. Its intonation is perfect for cords, its tone lush and creamy. Think Space Oddity or the acoustic sound on a Rolling Stones song like Wild Horses. I always found these be very beautiful looking and playing acoustic guitars. Excellent design and original looking especially with that cool head stock look! They are well made guitars as well. Sounds thick and creamy! Secret weapon here! This guitar is in excellent shape, though there is some stripped finish around the sound hole. Guitar is very clean for its age. All relatively light wear and tear. The frets are in excellent condition and everything works. Overall this guitar is in great shape. The guitar has minor superficial dings, scratches, wear and tear around various parts of the guitar. Typical of a guitar of this age. As with any guitar that’s been sitting in storage it going to need new strings and set up.
